Ms. Karishma Pujari specializes in commercial law, banking and finance. She has experience in drafting and reviewing of various corporate and finance documents. Ms. Pujari advises clients on setting up business in Tanzania, regulatory compliance, due diligence investigations and also on general corporate matters. She has expertise in reviewing, drafting, perfecting and enforcement of various kinds of security documentation and loan agreements. She also specializes in intellectual property law relating to trademarks, patents and copyright.

Ms. Pujari has been awarded a certificate of appreciation by the World Bank for her legal works and contribution to understanding the investment environment in Tanzania. Prior to joining Asyla Attorneys in 2009, Ms. Pujari has worked with Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Limited as a Legal Trainee in the legal department of the Company. She has also worked with CRISIL: A Standard and Poor’s Company as a Bank Loan Ratings Executive.
